Lovely Blog Award

Yay! This is my first tag. I was tagged by the lovely Michelle from lipstickrules.blogspot.com. The rule is to name 6 things that made you happy today, so here goes:

1.) Seeing my daughter play with her cousins and their dog
2.) Catching up with an old friend from elementary school via Facebook
3.) My hubby telling me he's finally coming home from work (it's 11:30 pm, and he's on his way home now)
4.) I worked out today...woohoo!
5.) Watching my daughter sleep next to me (yes, I'm a sucker...she always makes her way in my bed)
6.) Getting tagged

Thank you so much Michelle, that was a lot of fun.

Cheers,
Angie

MAC sale HAUL

Hooray! So excited, I just got my MAC stash from the SUMO sale. I got an eyeshadow pallette, e/s in Sable, Tempting and Wedge. My favorite eye look is a smokey bronzey eye, so thanks to Lollipop26, I got those. They look gorgeous and can't wait to use them.

I also got 2 blushes, Trace Gold and Peaches. Then I got 3 lipsticks in Hue, Creme Cup, and Creme D'Nude. Hue and Creme Cup are very similar. Creme Cup is a little more pigmented and shimmery I think. Creme D'Nude I got because I heard so many great things about. I tried it on and I look like death warmed over. I definitely need a gloss to mix with it...and a really dark, smokey eye in order to make this lipstick work on me.
I also got 2 dazzleglasses in sugarimmed and smile. I love both of them, but I hate the applicator. I'll deal though, the colors are great. I also bought a Hello Kitty lip balm, which I love.

I promised myself that after this haul I would get on project 10 pan. I really need to stop buying makeup for awhile, as I do have more than enough. That's it for now...

Product of the Week: Vaseline Cocoa Butter Gel Body Oil

I purchased this gel oil last week, and I have to say it's AMAZING. I absolutely love it. It makes my skin so soft and supple. But you must put it on in the shower while your skin is still drenched. Let your skin soak it in for about a minute then towel dry off...and your skin will look, feel, and smell like heaven!

Back to Basics

So after my lovely experience with the Estee Lauder cleanser and serum, I had to get my face back to normal. My skin was a mess after the new cleanser. I had red bumps and my skin was peeling. I lost like 10 layers of skin (ok, i might be exaggerating...but not by much).
I went out and bought Cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer. I've been using it for about a week now and my skin is almost back to normal. I might even be bold enough to post some FOTD's.

Getting ready for trip to Greece

I have been shopping like a maniac the past 2 weeks. I'm getting ready to go on a 3-week vacation to Greece. The trip is actually in September but I figure come August the selection of summer clothes will not be that great, so might as well stock up now.
It's also going to be the first time I travel on a plane with my baby girl (she will be 1). I'm a bit nervous about that, i.e. germs from breathing in that stale airplane air, will she sleep or keep the whole plane awake? Any tips from experienced moms out there? Ha, I'm terrified.

Below is a shot of the village where my hubby is from (in Greece). It's so beautiful and I can't wait.

CCO & Forever 21 Haul

I went to the CCO last week and bought 4 blushes. Can you tell I have a thing for blush?
I got Sweet William creme blush (so lovely), every girl needs a nice pink blush like this. I also got Spaced Out blush from the neo-sci-fi collection. It's a gorgeous peachy blush. And then I also got Petticoat MSF and Bobbi Browns Copper Diamond Shimmer Brick. I love all of them, they are so pretty on.

From L to R: Sweet William, Spaced Out, BB Shimmer Brick, and Petticoat

I also got a cute maxi dress from Forever 21 and sandals from Steve Madden. I thought that these would look cute together:

Job Interview

So tomorrow I have a job interview with a major company. I am quite nervous as I have been a stay at home mommy for 2 years now. I am also feeling quite guilty because I am lucky enough to be able to stay at home and take care of my munchkin. However, I do feel like if I go back to work, I am setting a good example for my daughter. I'm feeling quite mixed right now. I want her to grow up knowing that she should work hard and not depend on a man for anything.

I keep telling myself that it's just an interview and it doesn't mean anything. It's just for fun. It's for a big company though, one that I would love to work for..oh well, we'll see what happens.
